After completing her MFA, Jamie Kimmel Shelton realized that sometimes one has to look backward to move forward. So she returned to what she does best: Draw. Specifically, animals and especially horses. She has always been fascinated with the mythologies and folktales of cultures from around the world and many of these tales revolve around animals and their interactions with mankind. By looking back to theses stories, we can continue to learn about ourselves and our place (and responsibility) in the greater world.
